Not at this point. Because we're taking a different approach to therapy, there are parts of our technique and structure that aren't supported by insurance. While we hope to work through these obstacles in the future, we feel it's important not compromise care for our clients. We will be happy to provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement of out-of-network services.
We have intentionally priced our services lower than the majority of other therapists in the North Houston area. Because of our low flat rates, we do not offer any other discounts or sliding scale fees. However, because we offer multiple support services, we can help build your treatment plan in a way that is more affordable.
Some of our services are available online including individual sessions for young adults, support groups, and classes. All first sessions, teen therapy, family sessions, and some groups are only offered in person.
We believe in putting our efforts and energy into what we do best so that we can best help our clients. One of the cornerstones of our business model is to only hire therapists who specialize in working with specific populations or conditions. We hope to add more therapists in other specialties to our team in the future so that we may expand the services we offer to the public.
Yes! We see children as young as those in 6th grade (regardless of age). Younger clients, typically 11-13 years olds, have the option of shorter appointments for 30 minutes.
Classes and workshops do not require enrollement in individual sessions. Beyond this, it's best to take advantage of our first session, which we call the intake session. This allows us to assess, diagnose, and collaborate on the best solutions for you and your family. Most need individual therapy and a support service. Some may only need a support service. You and your therapist will work together to create a treatment plan the best meets your needs.
The purpose of our intake session is multifunctional. It's not uncommon for clients to have been previously diagnosed without giving a comprehensive history, meaning something may have been missed. We want to make sure we have a complete picture so that our interventions better reflect your needs. Even if our findings match your previous diagnosis, this will be a chance for you to collaborate with your therapist to make sure your treatment plan will help you reach your goals.
