My favorite things about therapy: seeing teens and young adults realize their personal power and autonomy, seeing parents take back their peace of mind, and being present for the moments families have breakthrough in their connection and communication. I love providing a safe space for my clients to feel like they can truly be themselves, but I also practice embracing uncomfortable moments and intentionally having hard conversations. I believe compassion and accountability can find a beautiful balance in the therapy session. Let's tackle the hard things together.
I worked with teens and families for over 15 years in various non-profits and ministries before returning to school to get my Masters of Education (M.Ed.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the state of Texas. I have spent the entirety of my career as a therapist specializing and working primarily with teens, young adults, and families.
I'm an amateur musician and singer, kind of a nerd at heart (fandoms, research, logic puzzles), and I do best when I can start my day with a creative outlet like painting or crafts. My free time is usually spent with my dog, spending meaningful time with the people I love most, catching an Astros game, or exploring the city and its various cultures.
